Milton's Story
Bruce was single and 23 years old living the “wild life” as a body builder in Tampa Florida in the late 70s when he met Milton who was the younger brother of a girl he was dating. Milton was living in a foster home at the time in very poor conditions. Bruce knew he had to intercede and that ultimately turned into adoption. That was almost 40 years ago and they are still together to this day. After we shared Bruce and Milton’s story on our YouTube channel, Joe Sposito saw it and was inspired to reach out to us so he could share his family’s story.
Joe describes his family as low income and struggling but he says they are getting by on love. Joe was in and out of trouble for much of his life, but he shares that his 2 daughters with Down syndrome have given him a renewed purpose in life and he wants to inspire others who might relate to his story. Jay's Story
Jay met Lucy in high school and they became best friends. When Jay graduated he needed a place to stay, so Lucy’s mom “adopted” Jay. We met Jay almost 10 years ago and our channel’s mission began when Jay told us he wanted us to make a movie about him. We plan to make a feature film about Jay but for now his story shines bright on our YouTube channel. Mark Mullen from Idaho commented on Jay’s video that he was so inspired that he and his whole family began volunteering at a local center called Special Needs Recreation.
We flew to Idaho to film Mark and his family volunteering together. The best part was seeing the deep friendships they had already made over the months since they got involved. Mark’s youngest son, Grant, invited friends from SNR to his 9th birthday party. We turned their story into a documentary and it reached over 7 million people on social media, even getting national coverage from CBS News.
One story has the power to change countless lives
These are just a couple examples of the positive impact that comes from sharing these stories that otherwise would’ve gone untold. There are so many more stories waiting to be told. We were recently contacted by the Down Syndrome Association of Ghana and asked to come share multiple stories in Africa. Wouldn’t that be amazing? But we need YOUR help to do it!

Our story
Our journey began with our friend Jay and a project called Made With Love. We thought we were setting out to capture one person’s story, but instead, the story captured us.
As we met families within the Down syndrome community, we realized there were thousands of beautiful, real-life stories unfolding right in front of us that needed to be told now.
Stories Made With Love has taken off with more than 50 documentaries and 125+ million views, proving the world is hungry for stories of connection, capability, and worth.
Our work has shown us the power of the human heart. We aren’t just filmmakers anymore; we are advocates on a mission to ensure every voice in this community is heard, celebrated, and valued. And with your help, we’re just getting started. All donations are handled through our nonprofit Share the Love Media Inc.
